Ranch Dip

May 29, 2016

My favorite restaurant for ordering hot/spicy buffalo wings has the best Ranch Dip I've ever had. They wouldn't share the recipe, so I took some home & after many tries I was able to recreate it and the results tastes exactly like theirs. I mostly serve this dip with wings, along with cut up celery sticks & whole scallions. This also makes a great dip for a cut up fresh vegetable platter.

Yield: 3 - 1/4 cup servings

Ingredients

1/3 cup Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, original flavor

2 Tblsp sour cream or plain Greek yogurt, preferably organic

2 Tblsp half & half, preferably organic

1 tsp dried parsley

1/4 tsp granulated garlic powder

Fresh ground black pepper, 5 peppermill turns

Directions

1 In a small bowl; whisk the ranch dressing, sour cream and half & half till smooth.

2Add parsley, garlic & pepper. Stir till well combined.

3 Separate evenly (1/4 cup each) into 3 glass containers with covers. Refrigerate at the very least 3 hours. For best flavor 8 hours or more.

Tips & Suggestions

1 You can make this ahead of time & keep it in the refrigerator till you're ready to use it. It will last close to the time that reflects the earliest expiration date on either your sour cream or half & half.
