Ginger, How To Peel
With the price of herbs & spices ever increasing, you can’t afford to waste anything. This technique for peeling fresh ginger is really easy & will just remove the skin, while leaving the precious ginger intact.
1 piece of ginger, any size
1. Cut a piece of ginger off the main piece, about the size of what you need for your recipe.
2. If needed, cut off any dried up parts from ends.
3. Hold the ginger in one hand & using the edge of a spoon, scrape the skin off in strips.
4. How easy was that?! Now you’re ready to slice, chop up or grate the piece of ginger… or whatever your recipe calls for.
