Horsey Sauce
July 8, 2016
Everybody that's tasted this has always asked me to give them the recipe, but I've rarely given it out... now I'm sharing it with you! It's really a very simply combo of ingredients, but it really adds that great flavorful punch to burgers & other grilled sandwiches.
Serves: 2
Directions
1 Ingredients.
2 Add all the ingredients to a 1 cup glass bowl & stir till completely combined. Serve or cover & refrigerate. Best flavor is attained if you remove it from the frig 30 minutes before serving.
The sauce looks so creamy and delicious. I love the addition of brown mustard, will try it soon as my daughter loves dips and sauce.
Wonderful Pavani… enjoy!
This sauce would be perfect with so many things I like such as roast beef and burgers. On my to make list!
Terrific! Hope you love it❣️
I made this to go with some roast beef this week and we loved it! Rather than go out and buy the Boar’s Head horseradish sauce, we subbed what we had on hand: about 1/4 teaspoon prepared horseradish and a pressed clove of garlic plus a little extra mayo.
It’s always great to improvise Beth, sounds like you had it all under control! I’m so glad you loved it
I’ve never had horseradish sauce with mustard before. What a great idea.
I love horseradish – can something be substituted for the mayo (maybe yogurt?
Do you have a dietary issue or is it just a Vegan thing Angela? There are loads of mayos on the market addressing those issues that you could use as a substitute. I don’t think yogurt would work.
Thank you for sharing this Simone, the picture of the sauce looks creamy n delicious. I have not tried the brown mustard and horseradish sauce before so this will be a new variety for me and looking forward to trying this.
Hi Simone,
great recipe but I want to know if mayonnaise contain eggs or is it egg-less ? I will appreciate your suggestion.
Hi Gursimrat, the particular mayo I mentioned in the recipe has eggs in it… but you can certainly substitute any eggless mayo of your choice. The horseradish sauce also contains eggs, I’m not sure if you’ll be able to find one without eggs, but you could try looking in your grocery store.
